We provide our clients with consultancy, engineering and design services in all project stages. Our areas of expertise include Coastal and River Engineering and design of Maritime and Water Infrastructure including River Crossings like Bridges and Tunnels.
With our experience based on international projects for our parent construction company, we are known for blending both unconventional and pragmatic solutions into constructable, cost effective and sustainable designs.
We combine our years of experience and expertise from FEED studies, tenders and detailed designs to site engineering support, to develop the most suitable solutions for our clients.
We deliver advise and engineering services in all project stages from feasibility studies to the design for construction and safe maintenance.
Until early 2026, Xbloc® was part of DMC Marine Consultants, where it was developed and applied worldwide in the design of innovative concrete armour units for coastal and maritime infrastructure. As of 1 February 2026, the Xbloc® activities have been transferred to Van Oord, following the successful completion of the acquisition of these activities.
Since this transition, Xbloc® continues its operations under the ownership of Van Oord, further strengthening its position in the global market for breakwater and coastal protection solutions.
